Another Day, Another App Banned

Yes, that's right, another app has been banned by Apple for no good reason. Apparently the developer was told (even by Steve Jobs via personal email) was that they 'wanted all widget apps removed.'

I've written before about how this is a very bad idea, both for consumers, developers and, eventually, for Apple.

On a side note, lots of vendors seem to be announcing tablets at the Computex event. LG, ASUS, Acer and a few others have come out with prototypes. With Apple selling two million iPads in under 60 days and having announced this back in January, why in the hell aren't they ready to go? They should have been launching the week before, not two or three quarters behind.
