Footbelstein

Footbelstein is a blog written by a lady who has decided to support a football team (West Ham) this season to try and understand what football fandom is all about.

The experiment: spend the first half of the 2009 Premiership football season in an attempt to understand what it is to be a football fan, either to join the ranks of enthusiasts or to ground future disdain in genuine experience. I reckon I win either way.

It's quite an interesting look at football, not just from a woman's perspective but also from someone who has never been a fan (and, indeed, an American perspective too).
