The Collective

While researching my recent post on second-hand books, I stumbled across an area of the BBC site that I didn't know existed, but looks pretty funky. In their words: Collective is about discerning people like yourself exchanging views on new music, film and culture -- without wading through the usual hype. You can become a member and make comments, add reviews and 'create your own space,' which basically means an area where you can list your interests and stuff, have a central location to find all your comments and reviews and have your own blog, all of which other people can see too. You can also win CDs, DVDs and books by becoming a member and posting reviews.

Looks pretty interesting.
